This year, I write with a slightly different perspective as the new Chair of the Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Services Advisory (TIVMS) Board.

MIT VMS, like all of our sister programs around the world, has dealt with the need for transition during the past one and a half years.

If there was ever a time when you thought your personal life didn’t impact your professional life, well, that was promptly dismissed in March of 2020.

It’s not a surprise to us that the work of the Threshold Impact VMS is known throughout North America as one of the finest VMS chapters operating.

Like so many organizations, Token Naturals has undergone a substantial transition over the past year.

Taproot started with VMS in April 2020 – which was perfect timing, as it turned out.

Entrepreneurs are tested on a daily basis in their endeavours. Many of the tests are anticipated or expected, even if the exact timing of when the test will occur is unknown.

As more colleagues, neighbours and communities gain broader protection against COVID-19, we're seeing many governments and health authorities ease restrictions, businesses reopen or extend their hours, and the economy slowly recover.

Through this pandemic I’ve had the opportunity to engage with hundreds of entrepreneurs, helping to deal with a multitude of challenges.
